Historical Lightning Data

We are in the process of adding historical lightning data to the site. This would enable extraction of lightning data from across Australia at a paritcular location and time as well as integration with our existing products, in particular the radar and satellite views.

If you are interested in this, we’d love to hear from you. In particular what sort of time frames (eg. minutes, hours, days), over what sort of area from of a point of interest (eg. within 1,10,100km) as well as the typical age of data you would be interested in - yesterday, last week, month, year etc.

Also, if you have a particular interest in live, or near-real time lightning data, then also please let us know. At this stage we plan to focus on provision of data that might typically be at least from a few days ago, but will revisit it if there is sufficient demand.
