Cancellation of Severe Thunderstorm Warning
For people in Riverina Forecast District.
Issued at 3:39 pm Tuesday, 25 August 2026.
Severe thunderstorms about the Riverina have eased, however further development is possible.
This warning is now cancelled.
Further development of severe thunderstorms is possible across western NSW during this afternoon and early evening. If this occurs, Severe Thunderstorm Warnings will be reissued.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
