Damaging winds no longer forecast.
This warning is now cancelled. Windy conditions likely over the next few hours though winds are expected to be below warning thresholds.
Peak sustained winds of 92 km/h were recorded at Thredbo Top Station in the 10 minutes around 10:00 am.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Don't walk, ride or drive through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
