This warning is now cancelled. Winds have eased below damaging thresholds, and this warning is cancelled. Note that conditions remain gusty this morning.

Strongest winds observed on Monday include:
93 km/h wind gust was recorded at Nobbys Head at 2:39 pm.
91 km/h wind gust was recorded at Williamtown at 2:07 pm.
93 km/h wind gust was recorded at Bellambi at 12:34 pm.
106 km/h sustained winds were recorded at Thredbo Top Station at 10:35 am.
104 km/h wind gust was recorded at Murrurundi Gap at 6:17 am.

* Keep clear of fallen power lines.
* Don't walk, ride or drive through flood water.
* Keep clear of creeks and storm drains.
* Beware of fallen trees or debris on the road.
