Warning details
Severe thunderstorms are possible for eastern part of Hunter and the southeastern part of Mid North Coast district until early afternoon. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning will be issued if severe thunderstorms are detected.
Flood watches are current for rivers in the area. Please refer to https://www.bom.gov.au/weather-and-climate/warnings-and-alerts for more detail.
Locations which may be affected include Nowendoc, Barrington Tops and Yarrowitch.
43mm was recorded at Upper Chichester in the hour to 8:15pm.
58mm was recorded at Carey's Peak (Barrington Tops) in the 3 hours to 6:38pm.
101mm was recorded at Comboyne in the 3 hours to 11:45pm
