Initial Minor Flood Warning for the Bell River and Final Flood Warning for Molong Creek

MINOR FLOODING LIKELY AT WELLINGTON ON THE BELL RIVER WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
Moderate to locally heavy rainfall was observed during Tuesday over parts of the Macquarie River catchment, including the Bell River and Molong Creek, where rapid creek level rises were observed.
Along the Bell River, a flood peak has been observed upstream of Gowan Green at Molong. This flood water is expected to reach Wellington Wednesday afternoon, with a minor flood peak on the Bell River Wednesday evening. River levels along the Macquarie River at Wellington are expected to remain below the minor flood level.
River levels are estimated to have fallen below the minor flood level along the Molong Creek at Molong and no further flooding is expected.
