ELEVATED RIVER LEVELS CONTINUING ALONG THE WARBURTON RIVER AT POOTHAPOOTHA
ELEVATED CREEK LEVELS CONTINUING ALONG THE LOWER COOPER CREEK AROUND INNAMINCKA
River levels along the Warburton River at Poothapootha Waterhole are elevated and steady, with further river level rises and high flows expected into mid-May as flows continue to arrive from upstream near the Queensland border.
Creek levels along the lower Cooper Creek around Innamincka are currently rising, with further rises expected into mid-May as flows continue to arrive from upstream in Queensland.
Many roads and access tracks are impacted by flooding, in particular river and creek crossings. Transportation and movement of local communities and travellers are likely to be further impacted. Check road conditions before travelling.
