MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT STRATHBRIDGE

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT WESTWOOD BRIDGE FROM LATE THURSDAY

Since Tuesday morning, moderate rainfall totals have been observed across parts of the Meander River catchment which has resulted in river level rises. Further rainfall is forecast across the catchment through to Friday morning. Minor flooding is occurring at Strathbridge and possible at Westwood Bridge from late Thursday.

River levels may remain elevated around the minor flood level with renewed river level rises possible in response to forecast rainfall.

Safety advice

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.

Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.

Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.

Check the ABC and local media for updates. The situation can change quickly, so stay informed.
