Initial Minor Flood Warning for St Pauls River and South Esk River

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT LEWIS HILL OVERNIGHT THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY AND AT FINGAL FRIDAY MORNING

Areas of moderate rainfall have been recorded over parts of the South Esk River catchment including St Pauls River. Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Thursday.

River level rises to the minor flood level are possible with forecast rain. River levels may reach the minor flood level overnight Thursday into Friday along St Pauls River at Lewis Hill, and Friday morning along the South Esk River at Fingal.

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.

Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.

Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
