Cancellation of Severe Weather Warning for Furneaux Islands, North East and East Coast forecast districts
Warning details
The risk of heavy rainfall has eased, however, moderate rainfall is still expected about eastern and northeastern parts of Tasmania this evening. The weather is being closely monitored and a separate Severe Thunderstorm Warning will be issued should localised heavy rainfall become a risk.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Supervise children closely.
* Do not walk, ride or drive through flood waters.
* Beware of damaged trees and power lines and take care when driving.
* Listen to the ABC radio or check www.ses.tas.gov.au for further advice.
