RENEWED RIVER LEVEL RISES EXPECTED

MINOR TO ISOLATED MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE ACROSS FLOOD WATCH AREA FROM TUESDAY

Moderate rainfall has been forecast for the flood watch area from overnight Monday through to Wednesday morning.

Renewed river level rises are expected across the flood watch area with minor flooding possible from Tuesday. Isolated moderate flooding may also develop if the rainfall is in the upper end of the forecast range.

Catchments across the flood watch area are wet and stream levels remain elevated as a result of recent rainfall. Flooding is still ongoing in some catchments. Stream levels are likely to respond quickly to forecast rainfall.

* Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
* Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
* Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
* Check the ABC and local media for updates. The situation can change quickly, so stay informed.
