Minor Flood Warning for the Seven and Castle Creeks

MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT EUROA AND POSSIBLE AT KIALLA WEST FRIDAY AFTERNOON

Since Monday, moderate rainfall has been recorded across the Seven Creeks catchment, resulting in river level rises. Minor flooding is occurring at Euroa following a minor flood peak during Wednesday. Upstream at Strathbogie renewed minor flooding is occurring. As these floodwaters move downstream minor flooding may be extended at Euroa.

Rainfall is forecast for the remainder of the week, which may result in further river level rises.

A Flood Watch is current for Parts of North East and Central Victoria.

  • Minor flooding is possible at Telfords Bridge into Thursday. — Castle Creek
  • Minor flooding is occurring along the Seven Creeks at Strathbogie and Euroa. — Seven Creeks to Euroa, Seven Creeks at Euroa
  • Minor flooding is possible at Kialla West. — Seven Creeks downstream of Euroa, Seven Creeks at Kialla West

Safety advice

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.

Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.

Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
