Minor Flood Warning for the Seven and Castle Creeks

MINOR OCCURRING AT STRATHBOGIE AND LIKELY AT EUROA FROM MONDAY MORNING

Rainfall across the Seven and Castle Creeks catchments since Sunday morning has resulted river level rises and minor flooding along the Seven Creeks at Strathbogie. Rainfall is forecast to continue until Monday afternoon, which may result in further creek level rises and areas of flooding across the Seven and Castle Creeks catchments.

The situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.

  • River levels are elevated along the Castle Creek. Minor flooding may develop around Telfords Bridge from overnight Sunday into Monday. — Castle Creek
  • MInor flooding is occurring along the Seven Creeks at Strathbogie. Minor flooding is also likely along the Seven Creeks at Euroa. — Seven Creeks to Euroa, Seven Creeks at Euroa

Safety advice

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.

Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.

Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.

Check the ABC and local media for updates. The situation can change quickly, so stay informed.
