MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT TAHUNE BRIDGE FROM EARLY THURSDAY AFTERNOON. MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT JUDBURY THURSDAY AFTERNOON, AND HUONVILLE THURSDAY EVENING WITH THE HIGH TIDE.
Areas of moderate rainfall have been recorded over parts of the Huon River catchment since Wednesday evening.
River level rises are occurring across parts of the catchment, with a moderate flood peak possible at Tahune Bridge early Thursday afternoon. Minor flooding is possible at Judbury Thursday afternoon and Huonville Thursday evening with the high tide.
Further showers are expected for the remainder of Thursday, which may result in renewed river level rises or slower easing of flood waters after a flood peak is observed.
