Cancellation of Severe Weather Warning
For people in East Gippsland, South West, North East, West and South Gippsland and Wimmera Forecast Districts.

Winds have eased over alpine areas this morning.
Weather Situation: Northerly flow has decreased over alpine areas this morning as a cold front slips to the south of Victoria.
This warning is now cancelled.
93 km/h wind gust was recorded at Mount Buller Airport at 9:42 am.
102 km/h wind gust was recorded at Falls Creek Airport at 6:43 am.
Sustained 72 km/h winds with a 122 km/h wind gust were recorded at Mount Hotham around 6:01 am.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Stay away from fallen powerlines - always assume they are live.
* Stay safe by avoiding dangerous hazards, such as floodwater, mud, debris, damaged roads and fallen trees.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.
No further warnings will be issued for this event.
