Cancellation of Severe Weather Warning

For people in Central, East Gippsland, South West, North East, West and South Gippsland and Wimmera Forecast Districts.

Issued at 9:55 am Saturday, 13 June 2026.

Damaging wind gusts about the ranges have eased.

Weather Situation: Breezy conditions persist through the early afternoon about elevated areas as a weakening cold front moves through Victoria.

This warning is now cancelled. Other warnings may be current. Please check https://www.bom.gov.au/weather-and-climate/warnings-and-alerts/.

109 km/h wind gust was recorded at Mt William at 12:00 am.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Stay away from fallen powerlines - always assume they are live.
* Stay safe by avoiding dangerous hazards, such as floodwater, mud, debris, damaged roads and fallen trees.
* Don't walk, ride your bike or drive through flood water.

No further warnings will be issued for this event.
