MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AT COWWARR WEIR (UPSTREAM)

AT WANDOCKA, MINOR FLOODING IS EXPECTED OVERNIGHT, WITH MODERATE FLOODING LIKELY SUNDAY MORNING

Moderate to heavy rainfall has been recorded over the Thomson River catchment since Thursday causing river and creek level rises.

Moderate flooding has eased at Cowwarr Weir (Upstream), where the river level is now above the minor flood level and continuing to ease. Moderate flooding is likely at Wandocka Sunday morning.

The situation is being closely monitored, and this warning will be updated as required.

A Severe Weather Warning for heavy rainfall is current for parts of East Gippsland and West and South Gippsland Forecast Districts.

A Flood Watch is current for parts of Gippsland, North East, Central, South West and North West Victoria.
