FLOODING POSSIBLE IN MOORE AND HILL RIVER CATCHMENTS FROM LATE FRIDAY

A slow-moving trough is lingering over the northern South West Land Division and a cold front is expected to move over southwestern WA this evening. Further moderate to possibly heavy falls are forecast for the remainder of Friday and into Saturday in parts of the Central West and Lower West districts, including the Moore and Hill catchments. The catchments are relatively dry but can respond quickly to rainfall.

With forecast rainfall, river and creek level rises, localised flooding, and overland inundation are possible in parts of the Moore and Hill catchments, including Moora, from late Friday. Some communities and homesteads may become isolated. Check road conditions before travelling.
