MINOR TO MAJOR FLOOD WARNINGS CURRENT FOR PARTS OF GIPPSLAND, NORTH EAST AND CENTRAL RIVER CATCHMENTS

Moderate to heavy rainfall recorded across parts of Gippsland, northeast and central Victoria since Monday has caused river level rises in the Flood Watch area. Flooding is likely to continue in the Kiewa River, Ovens and King Rivers, Goulburn, Mitchell and Werribee Rivers, and Seven and Castle Creeks catchments, where Flood Warnings remain current.

Rainfall is easing during Friday. Further flooding is not expected elsewhere in the Flood Watch area.

Flood warnings are current for the following catchment(s) : Mitchell, Upper Murray, Kiewa, Ovens and King, Seven and Castle, Goulburn and Loddon

Flooding is no longer expected in the following catchment(s): Macalister, Broken and Campaspe
