Initial Minor Flood Warning for the King River

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT DOCKER ROAD BRIDGE OVERNIGHT TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY

Moderate rainfall across the Ovens and King River catchments since Monday has caused significant river level rises along the upper King River, with further rainfall forecast for the remainder of Tuesday and through to Friday. Minor flooding is possible at Docker Road Bridge from overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.

This situation is being closely monitored, and Flood Warnings will be updated as required.

A Flood Watch is current for parts of North East and Central Victoria.

Safety advice

Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.

Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.

Obey road closure signs. Plan ahead so you don't drive on flooded roads.
