A MODERATE FLOOD PEAK AROUND 12.65 M POSSIBLE AT WANGARATTA SATURDAY EVENING
MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT ROCKY POINT, DOWNSTREAM OF LAKE BUFFALO AND DOWNSTREAM OF LAKE WILLIAM HOVELL
Moderate rainfall since Monday has caused significant river level rises and areas of flooding across the Ovens and King River catchments.
River levels along the King River at Docker Road Bridge peaked around the major flood level Friday evening and currently falling with moderate flooding.
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Ovens River at Wangaratta, where river levels may peak around 12.65 m Saturday evening, with moderate flooding.
Minor flooding is occurring along the Buffalo River downstream of Lake Buffalo, along the King River downstream of Lake William Hovell and along the Ovens River at Rocky Point.
